The Mattery is a Zürich-based consultancy for personal branding and community building, founded by Vanessa Mohrig in 2020.

I work with brands and professionals who want to be clearer about what they stand for and more visible to the right people, without wasting time, budget, and energy on the wrong priorities.

My background spans brand building, community-led growth, and entrepreneurship. Over the past six years, I've built brands, communities, and ventures from the ground up, connecting positioning, content, and audience growth into systems that actually work.

Much of my work sits at the intersection of positioning, personal branding, and community building. For most people, these aren't separate disciplines: they're different parts of how you become visible and stay relevant.

I've built communities from scratch, including Makou, a female founders community in Zürich, and Die Werkstatt, an art and event community. These experiences taught me what it takes to create something people don't just follow, but actively show up for.
